ഇടുക്കി: ജില്ലാ ശിശുസംരക്ഷണ യൂണിറ്റ് ഓഫീസിന്റെ സീലിംഗ് തകർന്നുവീണു. ഇടുക്കിയിലാണ് സംഭവം. ഓഗസ്റ്റ് പത്തിന് രാവിലെയായിരുന്നു അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. കഴിഞ്ഞദിവസം ഇതേ കെട്ടിടത്തിന്റെ സീലിംഗിന്റെ ഒരു ഭാഗം തകർന്നുവീണിരുന്നു.

ജീവനക്കാർ ജോലിക്കായി ഓഫീസിലെത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് കൂടുതൽ ഭാഗം ഇടിഞ്ഞുവീണ നിലയിൽ കണ്ടത്. ഈ സമയം കെട്ടിടത്തിൽ ആളുകൾ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നതിനാൽ വൻ ദുരന്തം ഒഴിവായി. അപകടാവസ്ഥയിലുള്ള കെട്ടിടം അടിയന്തരമായി മാറ്റി സ്ഥാപിക്കണമെന്നും ജീവനക്കാരുടെ സുരക്ഷ ഉറപ്പാക്കാൻ അധികൃതർ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കണമെന്നും ശക്തമായ ആവശ്യമുയരുന്നുണ്ട്.
