ഇംഫാൽ ∙ മണിപ്പുർ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്ന് രാജിവച്ച ബിരേൻ സിങ്ങിനെ രാജ്യസഭയിലേക്ക് അയയ്ക്കുമെന്ന അഭ്യൂഹം ശക്തമായി. ത്രിപുര മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായിരുന്ന ബിപ്ലവ് കുമാർ ദേബിനെ രാജ്യസഭയിലേക്ക് അയച്ച മാതൃക മണിപ്പുരിലും തള്ളിക്കളയാനാവില്ലെന്നു മുതിർന്ന ബിജെപി നേതാവ് പറഞ്ഞു. കാലാവധി പൂർത്തിയാക്കുന്നതിന് ഒരു വർഷം മുൻപായിരുന്നു ബിപ്ലവ് കുമാറിന് രാജിവയ്ക്കേണ്ടി വന്നത്.  യുഎസ് സന്ദർശനം കഴിഞ്ഞ് ഡൽഹിയിലെത്തിയ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി മണിപ്പുരിലെ സ്ഥിതി വിശകലനം ചെയ്തതായി ബിജെപി നേതാക്കൾ പറഞ്ഞു. മണിപ്പുർ ബിജെപിയിലെ മുതിർന്ന  നേതാക്കൾ അടുത്ത ദിവസം ഡൽഹിയിലേക്കു പോകും. പുതിയ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെ വൈകാതെ നിശ്ചയിക്കുമെന്നാണ് ബിജെപി വൃത്തങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നത്.
