ന്യൂഡൽഹി ∙ കാനഡയിലെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു നടപടികളിൽ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഇടപെടലുണ്ടായെന്ന കനേഡിയൻ കമ്മിഷൻ റിപ്പോർട്ട് കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ തള്ളി. കാനഡയാണ് തുടർച്ചയായി ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ആഭ്യന്തര കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഇടപെടുന്നതെന്നു വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയം പ്രതികരിച്ചു. കാനഡയുടെ ഫോറിൻ ഇന്റർഫിയറൻസ് കമ്മിഷന്റെ റിപ്പോർട്ടിലാണു തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു നടപടികളിൽ ഇടപെടുന്ന രണ്ടാമത്തെ രാജ്യമായി ഇന്ത്യയെ പരാമർശിച്ചത്.

2023 മേയിൽ പുറത്തുവന്ന പ്രാഥമിക റിപ്പോർട്ടിൽ ചൈനയെയാണ് ഭീഷണിയായി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടിയിരുന്നതെങ്കിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം പുറത്തുവിട്ട അന്തിമ റിപ്പോർട്ടിലാണ് ഇന്ത്യയെക്കുറിച്ചും പരാമർശിച്ചത്. കാനഡയിലെ നയതന്ത്ര ഓഫിസ് വഴിയും മറ്റ് ആളുകൾ വഴിയും ഇടപെടൽ നടത്തുന്നുവെന്നും ചില രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാർട്ടികളുടെ സ്ഥാനാർഥികൾക്കു സാമ്പത്തിക പിന്തുണ ഉൾപ്പെടെ നൽകുന്നുവെന്നുമാണ് ആരോപിച്ചത്. ഈ ആരോപണങ്ങൾക്കു കൃത്യമായ തെളിവില്ലെന്നും റിപ്പോർട്ടിലുണ്ട്.
