ന്യൂഡൽഹി ∙ ചണ്ഡിഗഡ് മേയർ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ എഎപി സ്ഥാനാർഥിയെ വിജയിയായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച സുപ്രീം കോടതിക്ക് നന്ദി അറിയിച്ച് ഡൽഹി മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയും എഎപി ദേശീയ കൺവീനറുമായ അരവിന്ദ് കേജ്രിവാൾ. വിഷമ കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ കോടതി ജനാധിപത്യത്തെ രക്ഷിച്ചെന്നും കേജ്രിവാൾ എക്സിൽ കുറിച്ചു.ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് ഡി.വൈ.ചന്ദ്രചൂഡ് അധ്യക്ഷനായ ബെഞ്ചാണ് ബിജെപി വിജയിച്ച ഫലം റദ്ദാക്കി എഎപി സ്ഥാനാർഥി കുൽദീപ് കുമാറിനെ വിജയിയായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. ബാലറ്റ് അസാധുവാക്കാൻ വരണാധികാരി ശ്രമിച്ചെന്നു വ്യക്തമായ സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് കോടതിയുടെ നടപടി.
ലോകത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാർട്ടിയായ ബിജെപി തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ ക്രമക്കേടു കാണിക്കുന്നത് ആശങ്കപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന കാര്യമാണെന്ന് ഡൽഹി മന്ത്രിയും എഎപി നേതാവുമായ സൗരഭ് ഭരദ്വാജ് പറഞ്ഞു. എല്ലാം ക്യാമറയിൽ പതിയുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് ബിജെപി അഴിമതി കാണിച്ചത്. ക്യാമറയോ മൈക്രോഫോണോ ഇല്ലാത്തിടത്ത് എന്തെല്ലാമാകും അവർ ചെയ്യുക? എങ്ങനെയാണ് കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാരിനെ വിശ്വസിക്കാനാവുകയെന്നും സൗരഭ് ചോദിച്ചു.
സുപ്രീം കോടതി വിധിയെ സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്ത കോൺഗ്രസ് നേതാവ് സച്ചിൻ പൈലറ്റ് കോടതിയുടെ വേഗത്തിലുള്ള ഇടപെടൽ അദ്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തിയെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു. കോടതി ഉത്തരവ് ചരിത്രപരമാണെന്ന് ചണ്ഡിഗഡ് കോൺഗ്രസ് അധ്യക്ഷൻ ഹർമൊഹിന്ദർ സിങ് ലക്കി പറഞ്ഞു. ഇത്തരത്തിലൊന്ന് മുൻപ് സുപ്രീം കോടതിയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല. മേയർ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ എന്താണ് സംഭവിച്ചതെന്ന് എല്ലാവർക്കും അറിയാം. ഇന്ന് നീതി സംരക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും ഹർമൊഹിന്ദർ പറഞ്ഞു.കോടതി വിധിക്ക് പിന്നാലെ ചണ്ഡിഗ‌ഡിൽ എഎപി പ്രവർത്തകർ വലിയ ആഘോഷത്തിലാണ്.
